The draft gave a specific number of hours as a typical verification time. Removed before publication. Verification time depends on document type, country, queue depth, and whether a case falls to manual review; a single figure would have read as a promise and been wrong for most readers. The page now describes what makes it fast or slow, and says plainly that no honest range fits every case.

An early draft quoted exact percentage figures for card purchases and spot trading. Replaced with bands, each carrying the month we checked and a pointer to the exchange's own fee schedule. Published rates differ by country, payment method, and account tier, and they change; a hard number on a page like this becomes wrong quietly.

The first version described the exchange balance as “your bitcoin, held for you”. That is the comfortable phrasing and it is misleading: an exchange balance is a claim against the exchange, not an asset you hold. Rewritten, and the distinction now leads the page instead of appearing near the end.

How to report something

Email the address on the contact page with the page and what looks wrong. Screens change and we do not see every country's version of an interface, so “this step does not match what I see” is genuinely useful — it is usually the first sign an exchange has redesigned something.
