Privacy

What we do not do

• No ad pixels or session recording. No Meta pixel, no heatmap or session-recording script. The one analytics tool on the site is Google Analytics, described below; apart from its script, the JavaScript on these pages is served from this domain and you can read it.
• No cookies beyond analytics. Apart from the two cookies Google Analytics sets, listed below, the site sets none.
• No accounts, logins, comments, or newsletter. There is no form on this site that collects personal data, and no database of readers behind it.
• No advertising network. No third-party ad code, no retargeting, and no reader data sold. The outside services that do receive data are all named in the next section.

Things that do leave a trace

CDN and server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web server, the infrastructure processes your IP address, user agent, and requested URL to deliver pages and block attacks. These are ordinary technical logs, retained for a short period, used for delivery and security — not to build a profile of you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and protecting a website.

Google Analytics

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (the gtag.js script from googletagmanager.com). It records which pages are viewed, the page you arrived from, and general browser, device and approximate location data, and it sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, to tell visits apart. Google's default lifetime for those cookies is two years. For visitors in the EU, Switzerland and the UK, Google states that it uses the IP address only to work out approximate location and does not log or store it. To opt out, block the script or its cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on; every guide and tool works the same either way.

Google Fonts

Three typefaces load from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Together with Google Analytics above, these are the only third-party requests on this site. If you block it, the pages still work in your system font.

Your own browser storage

The roadmap tool remembers which steps you have ticked using localStorage on your device. That data never leaves your machine, is not readable by us, and disappears when you clear site data. Every other tool keeps its state in the page and forgets it when you close the tab.

Email you send us

If you write to our address, we have your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and typically delete correspondence within a year. We do not add senders to any list.

Links to other sites

Links leaving this site — Binance, block explorers, reference sources — take you into other companies' privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. The one link on this site carrying our referral code tells Binance that a visitor arrived with that code attached; the disclosure page explains what that arrangement is.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws elsewhere you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data an operator holds about you, and may complain to your national data protection authority. In practice, unless you have emailed us, we hold nothing that identifies you — there is no account to look up. If you have emailed us, write again and we will delete the correspondence.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Exchanges generally require users to be at least 18, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it and the change is noted on the corrections page. Last reviewed 2026-09-17.
